The largest ship in the Windstar fleet, the Wind Surf is a five-masted motor-sail yacht that accommodates 310 guests on itineraries to exotic locales. The ship is known for a casually elegant environment that's never regimented, with such highlights as an open-air water sports platform equipped with sailboards, snorkeling gear, water skis, sailboats and kayaks. The library has a large collection of books, CDs and DVDs, and the bridge is open to passengers who'd like to chat with officers and learn how the computer-operated sails work. The Yacht Club is the ship's living room decorated with intimate groupings of comfy couches and chairs, perfect for reading, catching up on news or enjoying good conversation with friends. The Wind Surf is also equipped with a pool, two hot tubs, a fitness center, salon and art gallery. Breakfast and lunch are served in the Veranda on the top deck, while dinner is served in three separate dining venues, each featuring a slightly different atmosphere and cuisine. AmphorA, the ship's main dining room, serves an innovative menu of gourmet specialties and spotlights local dishes. Stella Bistro offers contemporary dishes with a French flair. Candles, the ship's on deck restaurant, has a menu of various steaks and skewers, all served with a delectable selection of sauces. Popular after-dinner gathering spots include the casino, Wind Surf Lounge and the Compass Rose Piano Bar. All staterooms have ocean views and include Egyptian cotton linens, Euro-top mattresses, flat-panel TVs and DVD players, as well as luxurious bathrooms with custom shower heads, granite countertops and L'Occitane en Provence bath amenities.
