Cruise Highlights:

Marseille - A delightful blend of history, outstanding seafood, culture and heritage. France's second largest city and the capital of the Provence - Cote d'Azur region, the cosmopolitan city of Marseille lies on the southeast coast of France. As France's most important port, Marseille boasts connections with Africa, Italy and Spain. The strong mistral wind blows away all traces of pollution and provides a clarity of air so pure that many famous artists have been attracted to the city: Cezanne; Braque; Derain; Dufy and Marquet. Although Marseille is the economic and industrial capital of France , it manages to remain true to its own traditions and culture, reflected in the Marseille way of life and its numerous museums, theatres and opera houses.

Mahon - Menorca - A popular holiday destination, Minorca is dotted with picturesque villages and delightful Mediterranean scenery, so you can plan your day according to your mood, whether its history and the arts to walking and lazing on the beach. With an extensive selection of excursions, everyone will find a day trip to suit them whilst benefiting from the best deals on the top sights. Leave your luxury cruise ship for the day to explore quaint Ciutadella, the island’s former capital.

La Valletta is a city situated on the island of Malta, which lies 60 miles south of Sicily. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, here you'll find 7000 years of history living passionately in the present. You will span the millennia with an astonishing array of things to discover. Wherever you go, the island's scenery and architecture provide a spectacular backdrop to your holiday here.

Messina - A beautiful natural harbor full of history. Located on the Messina Straits and with a large natural harbor, Messina is one of the busiest ports in the Mediterranean. Its strategic location just five kilometers from the Italian mainland has made it an important site for silk, textile and chemical industries and a regular a port for ferries and cruise liners.

Naples - Is a large, sprawling Mediterranean port, with a centre that has many different focuses just waiting to be discovered on an MSC Mediterranean cruise excursion. No trip to Naples is complete without visiting the area between Piazza Garibaldi and Via Toledo, roughly corresponding to the old Roman Neapolis (much of which is still unexcavated like in many other Italian cities). The old port of Naples, the centro storico, is formed by the main streets of Via del Tribunali and Via San Biagio dei Librai (the latter also known as Spaccanapli, as it litterally splits Naples in two, which still follow the path of the ancient Roman roads. This is much the liveliest and most teeming part of Naples, an open air kasbah of hawking, yelling humanity that makes up in energy what it lacks in grace. But it's the city's most intriguing quarter, and a must see on any cruise to Naples. The Duomo is a Gothic building from the early thirteenth century, though with a late nineteenth century neo-Gothic facade, dedicated to the patron saint of the city, San Gennaro.

Genoa - Cradled between land and sea and with a working port, the Italian vacation destination of Genoa on the west coast of Italy displays its past through her many palaces and the surrounding ancient terraced hills. Genoa has many different faces; at once a modern metropolis and a rigorous custodian of artistic heritage, as well as an industrious marketplace with centuries-old parks perfect for relaxation.
