Detailed Itinerary

This itinerary starts BEFORE the accompanying cruise itinerary.

Day 1: Venice

You'll be greeted at the airport and transferred to your Venice hotel to meet your Tour Director.

Day 2: Venice

After breakfast in your hotel, join your Tour Director for a half-day walking tour of St. Mark's Square, including a view of the Bell Tower, St. Mark's Cathedral and Doge's Palace for a view of the bridge of Sighs.

Day 3: Venice & Florence

Enjoy breakfast in your hotel before heading to the Venice train station for a journey to Florence. Upon arrival you will travel to the center of Florence to spend the afternoon enjoying independent sightseeing, shopping and dining. Overnight in Florence. Breakfast included.

Day 4: Florence

After breakfast at your hotel, join your Tour Director for a half-day walking tour of Florence, including visits to the Accademia Museum, Cathedral Square, the Duomo and Santa Croce Cathedral.

Day 5: Florence & Rome

After breakfast in your hotel, transfer to the Florence train station to board a train to Rome. Upon arriving in Rome, you'll be taken to the city center. After lunch on your own, join your Tour Director for a walking tour of ancient Rome. You'll visit the Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, and Piazza Navona, and be treated to an interior visit of the Colosseum. After transferring to the hotel, the remainder of the evening is at your leisure. Overnight in Rome. Breakfast included.

Day 6: Rome

Enjoy breakfast in the hotel before departing on a tour of the Vatican City. You'll experience interior visit at St. Peter's Square, St. Peter's Basilica, the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel. Following the tour, you'll transfer from Rome to Civitavecchia to begin your Mediterranean cruise. Breakfast included.
