This itinerary starts BEFORE the accompanying cruise itinerary.

Welcome to Africa and Kilimanjaro Airport. We'll meet you and transfer you to the Lake Duluti Serena Hotel in Arusha. Once there, you can settle in and prepare for your first day of adventures.

In the morning enjoy breakfast in your hotel and then a morning on your own. After lunch, we'll take you to Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge. Head through the Maasai Steppe in a luxury coach and watch Lake Manyara come to life. Enjoy the scenic route as you ride up to your lodge, nestled on the edge of the Rift Valley. Once there, take some time on your own to settle into the grounds. This evening, enjoy a special curated dinner of local and international delicacies. Meals included: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner

After breakfast, you'll head out on your first game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Thousands of flamingos, 400 species of birds, unique tree-climbing lions, and the largest concentration of baboons in the world call this place home. This afternoon you'll head northwest after lunch, across the highlands. Experience the ultimate backdrop with the vast plains of the Serengeti on the horizon. After breakfast, explore Serengeti National Park. Tanzania's oldest and most popular national park protects the most varied collection of terrestrial wildlife. It's also home to the Big Five as well as millions of wildebeest. In the afternoon enjoy lunch at the lodge. Gear up for another guided game drive. Return to your hotel for the evening and unwind. After breakfast, head out on your guided tour towards Ngorongoro. This afternoon enjoy a picnic lunch overlooking the rolling hills of the Tanzania. Visit a Maasai Village and learn about the rich culture of its inhabitants. Head back to your lodge, perched high up on the rim of a 2.5 million year-old Ngorongoro Crater. After a special dinner, ask your Celebrity Concierge to book your guided nature walk under the stars. Or, catch a nightly Maasai dance performance. Meals included: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner

After breakfast, descend through the early morning mists 2,000 feet down into the crater. Ngorongoro Crater forms stunning backdrops to some of the most fertile grazing grounds in Africa. In the afternoon enjoy a picturesque picnic with guests and by guests, we mean a herd of nearby bathing hippos. In the evening before and after your prepared dinner, explore the landscape that surrounds you. Grab some wine and watch the African sunset. The sky will light up with colors you'll only see in this corner of Africa. Meals included: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner

After breakfast, head southeast. You'll pass Lake Manyara, Mto wa Mbu Village, and Tarangire. The highlands and the Karatu District will amaze you. Make your way down to Lake Duluti Serena Hotel. This afternoon a delicious traditional Tanzanian lunch will be waiting for you. Enjoy the afternoon at your own pace, go for a mountain bike ride, or take a canoe trip on the lake. After a farewell dinner, your transfer will shuttle you over to Kilimanjaro Airport. You'll fly to London. Meals included: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner
